The Linguistics Talks@Western are proud to announce a
Statistics for Linguists Workshop
offered by Professor Patrick Brown PhD, from the Department of Psychology. Professor Brown specializes in Cognitive Psychology, and has a strong
background in Applied Statistics and Linguistics.
This workshop is organised by Patricia Bayona, PhD candidate in linguistics, Department of French. For further information please contact Patricia.
The sessions will be on:

Bonus session of the Statistics for Linguists Workshop - Friday November 11th, 1:30-3:00 PM; UC 135 SPSS
Professor Brown will concentrate today on the use of the software SPSS (Statistics Program for Social Sciences).
Professor Brown will explore different testing procedures applicable to linguistics, and address all the questions you submitted during the summer.
The workshop will be in English.
