The Ninth Annual Meeting of the Austronesian Formal Linguistics Association

The Ninth Annual Meeting of the Austronesian Formal Linguistics Association will be held at the Kahin Center for Advanced Research on Southeast Asia on the Cornell University campus, from April 26 to 28, 2002. The program includes talks on various issues in the syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics and historical aspects of Austronesian linguistics. Invited speakers include Tien-Hsin Hsin of Academia Sinica, Andrew Pawley of Australian National University and Norvin Richards of MIT, as well as invited student speakers Andrea Rackowski of MIT and Niken Adisasmito-Smith of Cornell University.
