Community Event

The departments of Modern Languages and Literatures and French Studies at Western are hosting an international conference on Romance languages. To inaugurate the conference, we invite you to attend the pre-conference community event:

The opening of the Canadian Language Museum “French in Canada” exhibit: http://www.languagemuseum.ca/exhibit/french-canada, and two talks by professors from Western:

  • François Poiré “Contributions des études sur la communauté franco-ontarienne à la recherche en linguistique” (In French)
  • Joyce Bruhn de Garavito “La importancia de nuestro idioma en Canadá: hablemos español con la familia” (In Spanish)
